 Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7, 1998) popularly referred to as MrBeast, is an American YouTube personality as well as a philanthropist, entrepreneur and entrepreneur. The YouTube personality is known for establishing the YouTube video style that focuses on extreme stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began uploading videos on YouTube in early 2012 at the age of 13, under the handle "MrBeast6000" and his initial content ranged from Let's Plays to "videos that estimated the wealth of other YouTubers." In 2017, he became a viral sensation after his "counting up to 100,000" video received millions of views in a matter of days, and he has become increasingly popular ever since, with most of his videos gaining thousands of views.Over time the style of his content has changed to include challenge and donation videos that pay thousands of dollars, video involving arduous tasks or survival challenges, and original videos. Donaldson has hired a lot of his former classmates as assistants to manage his growing channel. MrBeast is Donaldson's main YouTube channel. The channel reached 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022.
