 Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30, 1991 was a popular American musician and rapper. He is known as his initials NF, that can be written as in the form of IF. Two EPs were issued by Feuerstein, I'm free (2012) [3] and an EP titled self-titled in 2014. He signed to Capitol CMG. Mansion was his first album released by the major label. The second studio album Therapy Session came out on April 22, 2016. It ranked 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned several awards, among which include: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF gained mainstream recognition in 2017 with Perception; the album charted at number one in the United States and was certified platinum. Its third single, "Let You Down", reached number twelve on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 topped the charts across the globe and was a top ten single. His follow-up, The Search (2019) was a commercial hit. Feuerstein declared that in his youth, rap music was a way to escape. He would record music using a karaoke device, recording both instrumentals and his raps using one microphone. On the 29th of November of 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut studio album Moments under his real name. His first single, "Alone", came out on August 2, 2011. The song featured songwriter and producer Tommee Profitt and Brooke Griffith. Xist Music noticed Feuerstein’s work in 2012. Feuerstein released his extended work I'm Free on May 2nd in 2012, with production by Profitt. The tracklist consisted of nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version of "Alone" with Sean Simmonds. Xist released a teaser for the release of the self-titled extended play, NF, but Feuerstein parted ways with the label over a disagreement and the release of NF was put off. NF contained a track titled "Only One" featuring Shuree Williams in its compilation album Move Vol 1. On November 4, 2013, he released "Beautiful Addiction", a single. Profitt was heard on the track and also vocals by Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
