Emily Bett Rickards was born in July 1991. She is a Canadian Actress best known as Felicity on The CW's television show Arrow. Rickards was born and raised in British Columbia. As a child, Rickards began her professional career with musical theater, and then dancing. Then, she wanted to introduce herself to professional acting. She graduated from high school before her schedule and began studying at Vancouver Film School where she earned her acting essentials certificate. She attended an audition at an open audition after having completed her program. The audition was the catalyst for her getting signed with an agent. Alida Vocal Studio, Vancouver was the place she studied. She was originally signed to appear in one episode of the series however, her overwhelmingly positive reviews from the fans as well as her ability to make sarcasm funny led her firstly, as a guest-star, then, as a co-star for the remainder of season 1.
