Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963, to an incredibly musical family from Newark New Jersey is the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston and John Russell Houston Jr. Also, she is the sister of singer Dionne Warwick. Her first singing gig was in the choir at her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark as a young child and at 15 was singing backing vocals professionally alongside their mother in Chaka Khan's hit song from 1978 Im Every Woman. Then, she performed background vocals for Lou Rawls & Jermaine jackson as well as her mom. She started as a featured performer for the New York-based New York Funk band Material. The quality of her vocal work attracted attention from the major label Arista who signed her in 1983. The first Whitney Houston album was released in the year 1985. It became one of the top-selling album by a musician. Her album featured several hits such as How Will I Know You're Good to Me, Saving all My Love For you and The Most Beautiful Love of All. It helped her achieve seven US chart-topping songs in succession, a feat that was more than the Beatles. The album's initial US year the album had sold more than 3 million copies. It went on to be purchased by more than 25 million worldwide which earned her the first Grammy. Its Whitney 1987 record, which included Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as songs, grew on the success she had achieved. But the 1992 film The Bodyguard sealed her spot in the top 20 most-sellers in history. Though the movie was not very well received, nor was her performance, the soundtrack of the film's Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You was able to reach the top spot on both the albums and singles charts across the US for months. She sold 44,000,000 copies. Also in 1993 that she was married to Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition musician with whom she bore her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown. Around this time, her well-documented drug use started and in 1996, Bobbi Kristina Brown was using drugs daily.
Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she's more popularly known as, is an American anchorwoman reporter as well as CNN's political anchorwoman and political correspondent. She produced several weekend shows for the network, such as Evans & Novak: Late Edition" and Inside Politics." She worked previously for NBC and CBS. Bash was awarded many times and was included on the Women in Washington Power List by Elle magazine. With her amazing anchoring and reportage abilities, she is highly regarded by a lot of young journalists within the business. On a personal level, she is a graduate of George Washington University is a caring mother for her single son. She has been married twice and is now a single.
