Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Parents of Winona Ryder named her for the town she grew up in. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder is Jewish. Ryder believes that her father had a Jewish background. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria and two half-siblings Jubal as well as Sunyata. Ryder was born in the United States and moved with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There, they didn't have electricity. Ryder who was an avid reader aged 12 years old, became a reader due to the fact that Ryder did not have access to television. At the age of 12 years old, Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas, a 1986 film that she was in, was her debut major role. Ryder was only 15 when she got it. Ryder suffered bullying in high school. Ryder believed that her future as an actor would be able to help. Unfortunately, that did not occur. It didn't stop her from pursuing dreams. In 1988 she had her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to be successful in her characters in numerous films. She was nominated for two Academy Awards one for her role as a character in The Age of Innocence (1993).
